Does Bettr have a banking license?

Bettr is not a licensed "Bank" in South Africa and we are not planning to seek a our own banking license. Bettr is rather a digital banking app that operates as an authorised distribution channel of Access Bank South Africa Limited.

Our alliance banking partnership with Access Bank Group affords us the opportunity to expand quickly into other countries in Africa and beyond.
